Braised duck to a whole new level.
F.Y.I Rather than saying the stall owner have changed the location of this famous duck rice, he decided to retire. And the current owner who had worked for th original owner for over 20+ years decided to continue the business.
so apparently they registered the address wrongly as well, it is further down. The coffee shop is just about 300m away from mustafa entrance 4.
Sambal kangkong $6
Not spicy enough for my liking but it is not bad.
Sambal sotong $8
The ketchup taste was overpowering the sambal. I’m not even sure whether there is sambal added in this dish. However, the sotong was very chewy and tasty.
Braised duck for four $23.50
Not so sure about the exact price. I think it was $37.50 for everything.
This bone-less duck was just too good, the sauce with the yam rice & the sauce for the duck.. i yearn for more.
Just a tip, i felt that the amount was too little. So if there is a total of 5people ,please add one more portion & tell them 6. So if it is 4people ,then 5.
conclusion
I enjoyed the braised duck but I will not order their side dishes anymore. The sambal taste was just like ketchup.
Overall, a nice location for the coffee shop since it is so near to mustafa, we went over to shop after the meal.
